The Showcase in the City of Lights in Las Vegas is a unique opportunity for athletes and college coaches from around the country to integrate into one location and receive instruction from a variety of collegiate sources. 2022 marked the 15th year for the Showcase in the City of Lights Team Showcase. Majestic Park is the only facility used for this event, creating an intimate atmosphere between college coaches and teams participating in the event. In 2019, the event sold out August 1st, almost 2 1/2 months prior to the entry deadline. Please plan accordingly and guarantee your spot for 2024 with registration and payment as soon as possible.
There will be NO SCORES kept during the event. 1 hour and 20 minute drop dead games and no substitution restrictions. There will be a 5 run per half inning to ensure each team will be able to bat during the 40 minutes of a group of college coaches will be at that field. Although there will be 2 umpires on each field this is to help control the game for the time and keep all parties on the field safe. College coaches will work the event behind the backstops, on-field or in-dugout and is designed to be flexible for instruction style for each college coach working the event and will be rotating fields every 40 minutes. Please remember with the 1 hour 20 minute game times, DO NOT throw the ball around the infield or huddle between batters. A Triple Crown Roster is required to be entered online. The roster goes into a handbook, which is given to ALL college coaches in attendance. College Coaches will work the team event from the backstops.
Each team will participate in 5 showcase games Friday, November 8, 2024, Saturday November 9, 2024 and Sunday November 10, 2024 . Each team will also have a 2 hour skills session on the field with college coaches either Friday morning or Saturday morning. Teams will have a minimum of 30 college coaches from NCAA DII, NCAA DIII, NAIA and Junior Colleges view their team during the weekend's events between the on field session and the 5 game round robin.
Breakfast with The College Coaches will be the Open House function and will be split into 2 sessions (one on Saturday and one on Sunday) teams will be scheduled a specific morning for their breakfast with the coaches. Parents are welcome to attend with their players to sit down and have a meet and greet with all of the college coaches in attendance. Triple Crown will provide breakfast for players and college coaches!
College coaches attending this event will be there during all of the showcase games, rotating fields every 40 minutes. A Triple Crown Roster online is required for a team to participate in the. The roster goes into a handbook, which is given to ALL college coaches in attendance. College Coaches will be working the Team Showcase from the backstops but on the field during the 2 hour session.
A great way to attract coaches to your games is to contact coaches prior to event with emails and letters informing them on team name and game times.
Teams must comply with our `Stay to Play` lodging policy or pay the surcharge by October 7, 2024.
The deadline for team lodging to be reported is also October 7, 2024. If teams are not in compliance with lodging at that time they MAY NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE SCHEDULE.
Teams must complete their roster online at www.triplecrownsports.com by October 15, 2024 as rosters are sent to be printed for the college coach book. All players must have a parent signature and all teams must have current team insurance or a team may be left off of the schedule.
The entry fee per Team includes a 5 game round robin and a 2 hour instructional session on the field with college coaches working the event. College coaches will also be on a rotation during the 5 game round robin as well which means that 30 college coaches at minimum will be able to view your team during the weekend's events. The Triple Crown Required Lodging Policy is in effect for this event.
To book your hotels teams must be paid in full for the event and meet the other conditions for entry into the team event.
Schedule will be published online no later than 4:00 P.M. (MST) on Thursday November 7, 2024. All teams should plan on a 10:00am start on Friday morning

Refund Policy:
All refunds processed by October 15 , 2024, will incur a 20% administrative fee. Starting October 16, 2024, no refund will be available for withdrawal. Alternatively, teams withdrawing before October 1st have 30 days to transfer funds to another Triple Crown event being held within one calendar year without application of the administrative fee.
